LONG bike rides

So, in addition to the National 24 Hour Challenge (linked above), which my lovely wife-to-be has already agreed to let me participate in, despite the fact it buts up directly against her Residency graduation (I promise I'll be in a good mood!), I just found this similar event in Texas, a couple months after we move there (in early October). I think I'll refrain from entering/registering until I'm certain it's something I even WANT to attempt again, but this handy map from google tells me it's just short of a 5-hour drive from my new home. Of course, with Dana covering football games I'm going to probably have to find a ride there or rent a car (or ride my bike!).
