The electric outage experienced by Yampa Valley Electric Association was due to a marmot that got past a chain-link fence and climbed onto a transformer.

That's one Marmot that had a death wish and a plan! Wow. All we get in NC are Squirrells on transformers, not so impressive as a Marmot! - LeeChee
