16" of snow...
...and a broken flipping snowblower, so I had the pleasure of shoveling it all this morning (it only took an hour and fifteen minutes, too!).

Not happy. I think that the previous owner really screwed up the snowblower and I'm paying the price. Oh well, I guess you get what you pay for.

The weather service issued a storm warning. Sounds like I'll be heading home at lunch to shovel also. Time to find a plow service, I guess! A new (decent) snowblower would cost about $700... Sigh.

(Everyone in the company gets these storm warnings - and weather reports - in our work email every day)

WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL MIDNIGHT MST TONIGHT

REST OF TODAY...SNOW AND AREAS OF BLOWING SNOW. SNOW ACCUMULATION8 FROM 8 TO 14 INCHES. HIGHS 15 TO 25. SOUTHWEST WINDS 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS TO AROUND 40 MPH. LOWEST WIND CHILL READINGS 11 BELOW TO 21 BELOW ZERO EARLY IN THE MORNING.

This should easily put us over 26' of snow for the year. So far.

Correction. 300 inches. So, only 25 feet.

(I'm home at lunch now. Shoveling).

With that kind of accumulation, do you shovel your roof? Wish we had some snow, this rain we are getting is not fun.
