I'm usually all for voting ON election day, but Nov. 4th I'm on call and have a full office day--I've had some days like that where I get called in to work at 5 am and don't get home until 7 or 8, and this is too important of an election to miss!

Erik and I voted too (OOOOOOBAMA!!!!). NC is a battleground state and we've been SLAMMED with ads and calls and mailers and volunteers and everything. It's getting dirty. But the voter turnout has been great here - we stood in line for an hour on Saturday to vote, and that was the shortest the line was all day.
Also we voted early because election day is our anniversary. And I'd rather spend that special day doing what really matters - watching the election returns.
Sorry Obama people. I nixed Jen putting an Obama sign in our yard. I am just not the type to let strangers know my opinion, even if I am leaning towards Obama. FYI, you are not American if you don't deal with Election Day garbage. Just thought I would let you know.
I wanted to revise my comment, but blogger doesn't like that.
As I was saying, BJ, if you don't want strangers to know your opinion, why do you have a blog?
But I'm just kidding--I'm the same way--registered Independent (I would vote Republican if reasonably argued) but lean Democrat. But because of my job, I try to stay as neutral as possible. Even when people are idiots.
