Uppers
Last post was too much of a bummer. So I deleted it. My point: I'm burned out with work.

So here's a cutie pic of me and C waiting in line for Santa. She can always cheer me up. (Mark's not too shabby at that, either).

 Merry Christmas to Dana!

Santa visited our family on Friday night so we had our Steamboat Christmas this year on the 20th (Caroline's 13-month bday, as it happens).

Though Dana was on call and spent the morning in the hospital, it was a great day. Caroline loves the toys she got from Santa and Granimal and pop-pop (especially the train), and my and D's shoulders hurt from her destroying me in Wii Boxing (friend code 8106 4239 6461 8358).

Dana has been talking about a treadmill for a while (and wants to train for the Steamboat Marathon this year), so we dug into savings and made it a Christmas miracle. Since I went to all that effort to build us a nice office in the house and it's been unused since I started work here a year ago, we've decided to turn it into our home gym (the trainer is already set up in there) - the treadmill is the latest (and last large) piece of that puzzle. It'll be crowded, but how much room do you really need to run in place? :)

We leave for Fargo Tuesday afternoon, and we're due for about a foot of snow between now and then, so we'll see what happens.

Merry Christmas, everyone! Have a great holiday and enjoy some downtime with your families. See you on the flipside!

(oh, and the iPhone is totally sweet, by the way). I have purchased one app - Bloom - and downloaded a ton of other freebies. Brian Eno is the man.

 Merry XMas to me
So a couple weeks ago now, I totally smashed my stupid Motorola phone and the screen shattered into many useless bits. Three days later, my iPod stopped working.

My new iPhone should be here Monday. Yay!

Note: title should read "Merry FMas to me"

 [guilty?] pleasure

I try to get to PostSecret every week, but often forget. It's a guilty pleasure that I'm sure I've mentioned on the blog before, but never dedicated a post to. It fascinates me, baffles me, makes me happy and makes me hurt. It's pretty awesome. Anyway, I'm sure most, if not all, of our readers have seen it, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

My secret is: I've never submitted a secret.
