For JK
Here's my favorite of our recent pictures. I'll get a new April/May album up on picasaweb soon.

 Finally!
So here's the long awaited post after way too long of an absence. Um, how cute is my kid?

Oh, so many things to say, so little time before dinner is ready. First off, congrats to the Gongola's--your wedding was spectacular and we had such a blast seeing everyone again. Hope your Arubaboner honeymoon was as great as it sounds.

We've been super busy--me at work since my partner is on maternity leave, and Mark with the house. He promised me he'd get the stairs and banister finished before the next round of company comes for Caroline's baptism on Father's Day. Mark also did some pretty sweet landscaping in the backyard, so it looks, well, much more polished. We're also pretty stoked because our neighbor is cutting down this huge evergreen tree this weekend in his yard that blocks our view of one of the mountains. The tree is dying, and we're looking forward to some sweet views from our dining room table.

Caroline is awesome as ever. She is SO CLOSE to crawling now. She'll grab with her arms, and rock her hips back and forth, but hasn't quite got the propulsion aspect yet. Give her a week. God help us. Damn. We need to buy a babygate.

She's eating a bunch more stuff these days, and we've got her on solids at lunch and dinner now. The big new thing is getting her to sleep through the night--about 6:30pm to 6 am. We've started to get more hard core about letting her cry it out when she wakes up at night, and I've stopped breastfeeding. She's doing really well with all of it. And she did GREAT on the plane again when we were in Chicago last weekend. Some of Granimal's friends threw a tea party for Princess Caroline at the country club. I have no pictures of this event, but Granimal sure does, and, well, I had a crown too. Caroline was so good for the whole party--almost 3 hours right during naptime. But she must have known she was going to have a lot of ladies around wanting to hold her because she took a whopper 3 hour nap that morning. And also spit up a ton of carrots all over her pretty dress. That's my girl.

OK, dinner time. I'll try and post more this weekend--
