Day Off

Man, am I ever happy to not be working today. I've been on 7 or the last 8 days, and those days do get long. Sunday WAS turning out to be awesome--I had spent about 5 hours at the hospital on Saturday, and discharged a bunch, so Sunday was shaping up so sweet. Mark and I watched all of the Oscars (yea Alan Arkin!) and I was just about getting ready for bed when the ER called and I had to go in. Didn't get home until about 2:30 in the morning, and then couldn't go to sleep. Possible child abuse. I hate those. So I ended up just being a robot yesterday at work because I was going on so little sleep. It's weird--I haven't had to go into residency mode for almost two years now. You just can't think when you're that tired--trying to sort out complex medical issues is next to impossible. So when the day finally ended and I went home, Mark and I did the guaranteed thing to make me feel better--beer and trivia at the bar. :)
And today I'm getting ready to go back up on the mountain. Missed out on all the new snow this weekend, but looks like another storm front is moving in, and I'm sure the conditions are still pretty sweet up there. Nothing like a little riding to feel better.

So, we have a home inspection tentatively scheduled for Monday afternoon (still waiting to hear back if that time is OK with the sellers), so I'm looking forward to that. I'm actually going to go through with him (I've been told that sometimes people just wait and show up at the end so the inspector can go over findings with the prospective buyer, but our inspector seemed to indicate that it would be preferable if I was there the whole time with him - which is just fine by me). I hope to get some measurements and more pictures while we're there so I can better plan my attack between closing (May 1) and move-in day (no later than June 30).
This weekend is
